As a former Pearson Customs Officer, I can tell you I lived through many of these situations. I would come in for my shift and have the lineups still be there when I left 8 hours later. Of course March Break and other big travel holiday times are busy but something is very wrong at the Toronto airport when it takes longer to get out of the airport than it does to fly home.
