How Much Can I Bring Back?

The last post on Duty Free got me thinking I should post the up-to-date limits of goods allowed for Canadians travelling into and out of the USA. This chart is a quick reference taken from http://www.beaware.gc.ca/english/questione.shtml  and is current as of today.

After 48 hours	$400 CDN per person	1.14 litres of liquor or 1.5 litres of wine	1 carton of cigarettes and 50 cigars and 200 grams of tobacco and 200 tobacco sticks
After 7 days	$750 CDN per person	Same as 48 hours	Same as 48 hours
